Opened in January 2006, the 350,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility is designed to meet the needs of meeting and event professionals, whether for conventions, tradeshows, meetings, consumer shows, banquets or special events. Located in the heart of downtown, the Shreveport Convention Center is the largest convention facility in the tri-state area known as the Ark-La-Tex which encompasses northwest Louisiana, east Texas and southwest Arkansas. It is also the second largest convention center in Louisiana.
